The point is that even if Whitlock really believed that black culture was a pathogen with a symptom of hooliganism and oppression, he took the cop-out by blaming it on "black culture". And he does it over and over again. You greatly underestimate people's capacity to ignore logic and focus on sht they agree with. shyt there are people in this thread that are shytting on Whitlock, who have agreed with articles he's written 2-3 months ago . And as long as his articles generate substantial traffic, then he'll stay in business. That's why ESPN hired him
and tbh i think the article will bother Whitlock way more than it does the people who actually reads(and agrees with) them.

That writer didn't actually dispute anything that Whitlock has written about the problems with black culture. All he could do was call Whitlock an Uncle Tom and say that anyone who agrees with him is a racist.

I think the writer, much like most of the posters on the Coli, can't handle it when confronted by uncomfortable truths that someone like Whitlock presents. That is why the respond with mostly insults instead of actual intelligent debate.

Carlson called Whitlock brave, and it was a compliment that aligned with how Whitlock saw and sees himself. In truth, it was the opposite. Whitlock, in the name of "telling it like it is," was merely flattering the prerogatives of white people who preferred that any discussion of race begin with the pathologies of black people and their culture, not with the de jure and de facto system of oppression in America and its residue. Whitlock was chickenshyt. He took the easy way out.
