I think it depends on teh kind of hip hop. A recent study said that 50 cent's music might help get a job if he's talkin about money. But gangster rap probably helps you die . Aside, the Lebron article was Whitlock's opinion. You don't have to agree with it but saying he's an inept writer because you don't agree with his writing is poor reasoning. Somebody is always going to disagree with someone else's writing.

White Grantland isn't just sports though they pepper in an almost equal amount of pop culture stuff too. So Black Grantland could do the same thing to appeal to non-sports fans.
