Kibd of off topic, but it's funny, reading an ASAP Rocky interview yesterday, I noticed he mentioned that he wanted to be a motivational person with his music. An activist. He said he wants to really inspire the young kids, and let them know there's hope out there.

It's funny because this is a common thing most rappers say in interviews. And you wouldn't be able to tell that from the music they make. Mind you I enjoy ASAP's music, but rappers need to cut that bullshyt out.

With that said, Flo Rida makes music that is truly inspirational to kids looking to get out of bad situations. Hate him if you want but he makes real feel good music. When u think about other dudes who say they make music to make listeners feel good, all they are really doing is bragging about what you don't have and how their better than you.

On top if that, he is more successful than your average rapper.

Then it's probably just not for you. Hip-hop's had club/dance music since forever. Some things are headphone music. Some things are diverse dance floor music. :manny:

Flo Rida's not a great lyricist, but he has high-energy, fun-tempo, feel-good dance music & his records work great for pro/college sporting events & arenas. As much as people use the words "classic" & "timeless", dude's legitimately found a way to create "timeless" records because we'll probably be 40 years old hearing "Low" or "Good Feeling" at football games. :ld:

Dude's figured out how to make a blend of music that people from different ethnic backgrounds & musical tastes could get behind...and it just so happens that those people are from demographics that spend actual money ON music that they enjoy.

I mean, dude is a garbage ass rapper that makes terrible music for the most part.

Yet, he's in the singles charts all the time and has numerous number one records, so I wonder, who the f*ck bumps his music?

Like teenage girls and such? I dunno...

I actually enjoy his music in the right setting.

I'd never buy his album or even listen to it in the car or anything like that, but when you're in LIV on a Friday night and you got a big booty latina rubbing her rump on your loins, Flo Rida >>>>>>>>>> Nas
