Biggest joke of this whole thing is..the opening scene for series 7 will be this exact scene but obviously from a 3rd person view where we actually see who dies, and by that time like someone else said most of the shock and build up by then will be gone and that's without 80% of people working out from trailers/leaked photos who died anyway.
Just seems some of these writers are stupid as fukk, a show this hyped up, popular and watched doesn't need to rely on bullshyt fake outs and cliffhangers...it's already popular...stop being p*ssys focus on the writing/story and give fans what they want

How? it shows the character's serious and gets straight down to the point. You then do the convo between him and Rick in the next ep. Negan's monologue went on for far too long and even dragged. 11 minutes with nothing shown

Him coming out with the bat, doing his eni mini mani mo thing and then killing someone would have been far more effective.

Everything he said had already been said by Trevor prior.

They drove from GA through the Carolinas and all of VA to get to Alexandria.

They ran into people like Terminus and the hospital group, they were organized but too be honest they should stayed in the hospital . That group had medicine, trained cops and food and gas. When they killed Dawn they could tried to come too terms with them or something because that place way better than Alexandria .

For it to have any impact at all it has to be a main character...Glenn, Michonne, Abe or Sasha. Highly doubt it's Michonne and I'd be extremely disappointed if it were Eugene.

Pretty impossible to be Rick, Carl, Maggie or Daryl.

A big part of the reason the Glenn death in the comics hit so hard was up until that point, Glenn was the only remaining member of the group that was "innocent" as he had never killed a human. The show kind of fukked that up with the killing goons in this sleep issue, BUT the ramifications of Glenn's death had major effects on the group and Maggie in particular as she now had no father for her child. That a lot of character development they'd be giving up if it isn't Glenn. Also the entire episode has POV shots from the group in the van, which Glenn was a part of. It only would make artistic sense for the POV death scene to be the same person getting the POV scenes all through the episode. I don't think this show has the balls to kill off a female in that manner so its between fan favorite Daryl or Glenn.... and the show has the most to gain from Glenn dying, storyline and character wise.

Completely agree, especially after reading this...it should be Glenn, I understand the whole nod to the comics by having Glenn lose it then being thrown back in line but they shoulda just did it, Jeffrey Morgan as Negan was a perfect casting imo tho, the whole way he speaks to the smile, great actor

Kirkman ks on record saying losing abraham before the civla war arc was a mistake. The death mesnt for abraham was given to denise and the death meant for glenn probably is given to eugene. It makes sense they spent time trying to build both denise and eugene as capable characters only to hastily kill them is safe and dumb

Negan appears as one of the best tv villains ive seen in years. The comedian wlake din and murdered the role wirh just 10 minutes and a baseballl bat. He literally made the rntire group get on their knees and relinquish half of everything they have and bytched on psycho rick. To just kill eugene would be a cop out and a tame warning shot. Wlaking dead may have rsn away from a historical television moment that would have boasted them from that popular show thats not good enough quality wise to warrant all the hype to a show that deserves to be taken seriously as a risk taking show.

It's not Eugene, Negan points to his right at Carl and Eugene is on Carl's left side. It's most likely Glenn or Daryl, the leaked audio unedited by AMC suggests it's Glenn. Also major props to JDM, he was outstanding as Negan and only the writers can ruin him.

if chandler riggs (carl) is telling the truth in his tweet that he doesn't know who died then they either have not decided yet or shot the scene with just the cast member that died and neegan so nobody else would know.
