Not wanting to interact with fans isn't an egregious offense like y'all making it out to be, y'all worshipping people who are just good at their job is what creates the situation

For all you know they could legitimately be introverted but just good at their job, y'all expect them to magically get over that and be social when they're not actively working? :camby: leave them people alone and ask yourself why you feel so entitled to their free time to begin with, you wouldn't do that to anyone else in your life without gettin cussed out

Met Fat Joe in 2008, waiting in line to vote for Obama. Line was wrapped around the Library since it was Obama mania. Heard lots of commotion and someone saying "It's Fat Joe" he seen how long the line was, seen me in the line with an older brother in front of me, he was maybe mid 30s, I was just turning 20. Gave him a head nod and let him and his wife skip me, we talked about music the whole time waiting to go vote, he mentioned how trash Common's "UMC" album was, how he was going to name his son after Nas but him and Nas had some kinda minor fallout at that time, didn't ask him about 50 though :pachaha:
Someone above said it about how sometimes you can meet celebs at the right or wrong time. But damn not "Giving you the best that I got" Anita Baker :mjcry:

Saw Guru outside a club in DC early 2000s..
He was chopping it up with everybody, and was just down to earth and cool as fukk. I didn't join the crowd and bother him further though.
I met Guru in Germany with Afu-Ra. He was very pleasant. I've got a pic with him somewhere.

I would say Krayzie Bone but Imma give him a pass. I saw him at a mall and I was the only one who recognized who he was, he gave me a look like "aw shyt". So I just gave him a head nod and he nodded back and kept it pushing. I don't think breh was an a hole. Just introverted af

Memphis Bleek, I asked him to spray a bar and he gives me a side eye, fukk him
Wow, I met him a couple weeks ago and he was cool and went out of his way to show respect.

I took a pic of him and my breh and he dapped me up without me even asking. I was surprised how chill he was because he had a bad chick with him and my breh chatted him very briefly before asking for a pic.

Lisa Leslie and Darlene, Ice T's ex wife was a bytch, oh and that bytch n!gga that played in Black Panther Sterling K Brown acted like a h0e when I saw him in the Vancouver Airport.....& Doe Boy from ATLANTA saw me at an Emmy's party, looked at me (I was probably the only nigro there) and hit a 180 and went the other way....smh I will give him a pass, this was b4 he came out the closet....

on the other hand Big Lez and Ghostface were COOL AF!!!! Showed me the most love ever. Big Lez gave me a big hug and Ghost shook my hand so hard his fingernails damn near cut into my palm
Ghostface is the type of person that didn’t forget where they came from. I’ll never forget him telling me exactly where in staten island I could go to get my Wally’s dyed. At the time that was major to me because I know how ppl like to keep their fashion exclusive.

All the ones I met been chill but I don't feel like they owe me attention so that's probably why
They legit don't but some folks feel they do. Easy for folks to forget they are really just normal folks with jobs deep down. And on a psychological level they are like most folks and don't want to be bothered sometimes. It's why I say fukk fame give me wealth. I'd rather be the producer noone sees than the guy out front.

To everyone that said Kanye :mjcry:

I met him in 2004. He was playing the same radio station show as the people I was with. He came over to introduce himself and say he was a fan of theirs. He was so happy to meet them and was gracious to everyone. Like to the point I said to myself, god damn this guy is so sweet and humble. What happened mayne :sadcam:

Saw Tyra Banks in Manhattan around 2002..she was standing outside a hotel by herself and I was across the street. I had every opportunity to step up, but froze..within like 2 minutes her bodyguard then showed up. Who knows, perhaps today she'd have carried my seed.

I felt the same way you did when Alvin Kamara told me I was a beast and he was a fan of my art.

They don't realize how much that sticks with us and it's not about idoltry..it's that you are seeing another black man in their craft doing their thing.

That's why when I had an artist talk at an art high school I took pics and signed autographs for every student there.
