I'm not talking about rappers that you're like "He's better than people give him credit for" on some pity party shyt. But rappers who nobody champions but you actually think is nice.
Tah Murda/Cadillac Tah used to be wildin on songs. He pretty much gets no love or respect as far as rapping.
Fatal from the Outlaws was dead nice, but gets lumped in with the rest of the Outlawz as ass.
Edit: I should've been more specific. I'm thinking more about rappers who have always had a stigma towards them that they weren't nice and it could be for a variety of reasons. It may be they was just looked at as a goon and not a real rapper. It could be they were associated with super commercial sounding songs so nobody really gave them attention as a rapper. It could be they were just lumped in as a "hanger on" to another superstar rapper, etc...for whatever the reason, people who are aware of these rappers just wrote them off or pigeon-holed them without actually giving them a fair chance and you discovered that they're actually good rappers.
This isn't really about rappers who are underappreciated but everyone who is familiar with them give them their props (for the most part).
