I’d rather spend our assets on trying to get a star wing rather than a “star” pf like towns

Embiid is a pipe dream, but him and Brunson would be a nice combination
What star wings are available?
Teams hold onto those guys with a death grip cause they're so valuable.
It took the Suns getting Kevin Durant for them to move Bridges, who isn't even really a star, and their GM didn't even wanna do that it was their owner overriding him

Who said we have to make a major trade this off-season?

We can easily just shore up our bench and run it back until a star wing is available

2 Trades Knicks Must Make To Help Jalen Brunson After Playoff Loss To Heat

Knicks trade would be Quickley, Evan Fournier, and a future first-round pick for Anunoby.

Knicks trade Julius Randle to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Karl-Anthony Towns (Do not want)

If they could do a 4 team trade between NY (Randle), Minnesota (Towns), Washington (KP), and Portland (Grant).

Enough with KAT shyt he can't handle Minnesota, had beef with Thibs, and yall think he's ready for New York and this media?!
I just hope all these articles are churned out by AI and not actual human beings :hubie:

No way can a person without a learning disability and two working eyes and think KAT can help anybody :hubie:

I agree, this team was so close to making it to the finals (which would've been a crazy thought at the beginning of the season). Celtics are falling apart and Knicks had their number even when Celtics were good during the regular season. Would've gotten spanked by Nuggets :dame: but still.

But I do think one move has to be made, it doesn't have to be 'major' in terms of upgrade in talent but in terms of consistency. RJ Barret's got to go :francis: I'm not saying bring in Dame instead of RJ but just bring in someone that's not gonna go 2-17 regularly. RJ's inconsistency would've been manageable if Randle also wasn't good for 5-20 on the same night :beli: and that shyt is not sustainable in the playoffs.

At least Randle is more consistent during the regular season and his playoff performances are mostly mental. With RJ I think, unfortunately, that's just who he is as a basketball player :francis:

That's not good.

A year ago, y'all woulda dumped Randle for anything. Now y'all are gun shy. If Randle is y'all wanna keep, cool, but now y'all made a choice to be stuck with him. Randle is living proof that "just get his value up and then sell high" is a myth. Randle is 2nd team all-nba and y'all turn into Bodie with the gun.

I think that Embiid stuff is a pipe dream too. Realistically speaking, if Embiid becomes available OKC will break the bank for him and no other team will be able to touch the offer.
True. He’d have a say in where he goes though. There isn’t a Danny Ainge in Philly. Most organizations want to do right by their stars in order to not piss off any future stars.

If doing right by Embiid (in this case, sendjng him to the Knicks for a fraction of the value) costs you your job, what's the point?
