For the Barrett contract is fine people B-Ball Index ranks him as a top 10 worst contract in basketball relative to production and the only guys above him really are Dillon Brooks and the players on the inflated new deals…

His volume scoring and age were cited as his only positives. The analytics rank him as a below average player every season of his career. His defense is particularly awful even over his offense. His efficiency and lack of playmaking tanks his offensive value/impact. Last year only 31% on threes with some of the lowest shot difficulty and variance in the league.



His contract is not a value at all it’s an albatross and the only hope is that he can make some serious improvement.
