Didn't know about Moolah
Moolah was a certified scumbag.
The Fabulous Moolah is considered by many as the “World Champion of Champions in Women’s wrestling.” Having held the WWF women’s title 4 times over several years certainly solidifies that assessment. There are several women wrestlers however, that have a completely different take on Moolah. One that was extremely cutthroat, manipulative and conniving.
They have accused Moolah of having a stranglehold on women’s wrestling by controlling all the bookings of her clients. If a client wanted to break away from Moolah…she would force the promoters to no longer book them. If the promoter didn’t comply, she refused to have any of her clients work with the promotion. Not only that, but Moolah was accused of stealing half of her clients pay day. Not only would Moolah get her booking fee, but she would also take half of what her clients made instead of giving them a full payout.
Committed and arguably worse-than-Montreal screwjob against Wendi Richter too.. went in masked, shot on her and trapped her in a small package to take the belt with no prior agreement.
