You say that like it's hard to be a top 5 team in the East, NBA purposefully proposes trades that only send superstars to the west leaving LeBron unopposed. The knicks with any other acquisition could easily be a 5th seed.

New York definitely needs to re-assemble, in perspective, they only had to win 43 games to be a top 5 team in the east in 2017. 43 GAMES. The standard is mediocrity and they still couldn't even sniff it.

But Toronto, Milwaukee, Washington and Atlanta have never landed any good free agents and have absolutely no chance at landing a decent free agent this summer when there's so few available, even though Griffin could be a decent fit on the Wizards.
