Bucks actually have a solid squad around him, but it's just not a contending squad. I love Middleton, a healthy Jabari is a beast on offense and complimented Giannis nicely, and while he's not there yet I love Thon in the long run still. Brogdon is a great solid complimentary piece to everyone, I'd like to see him moved into a 6th man Iggy type role and the Bucks need to find a good shooting and scoring guard.

Someone like DLo would be a great fit on this squad in my eyes. While he's not much of a shooter, the two way benefits of Eric Bledsoe would be a big bonus for them if they can get him at a reasonable price.
The bar has been upped... East conference on some conventional shyt, where I feel like we could compete if we had 1 more scoring piece. Doesnt have to be the perfect team... just some solid pieces and a superstar.

But the West is on some twilight zone right now. you got middle of the pack teams with 2 young superstars and a 20 ppg all NBA defender... you got the reigning mvp teaming up with a perennial all star and a veteran superstar... even the pelicans are stacked. You gotta have a downright unfair lineup just to compete with those teams. And at the end of the day, Golden State isnt really touchable

Im not about to say its impossible for Giannis to compete in the next few years, but I see him having an MJ/Lebron type of career where he doesn't get his first ring until his mid/late 20s

Sixers have the core to beat in the East after Lebron's steady decline and Giannis/Jabari/Middleton not cutting it :yeshrug:

This will fix so much. Saw someone say Middleton is streaky. He's not, he's just pressing right now trying to fill the #2 role instead of just playing ball. He's getting good looks and just missing them. He'll be fine. Thon has been trash, and it's clear he's not ready. If we can get consistent play from Henson when Monroe comes back, we'll be ok.

Brogdon is fine. I don't know why ppl are trying to get rid of him. He does exactly what we need out of our PG. Snell will be perfect filling the 2 and 3 off the bench. Getting Jabari back will fill what we desperately need: SCORING. We just need another threat. Hopefully his three point shot keeps improving (he got much better last year) and he can keep the floor spaced. Plus, with Jabari back, he and Middleton can ease the pressure off of each other so they can just focus on playing instead of trying too hard to help Giannis.

I just wish we weren't having this discussion. This happening twice to Jabari is just not good.

Wrong. Capela, Beverly, Gordon, Williams>>>>>> Snell, Brogdon, Middleton
LeBron carried bums deep into the playoffs in the East before he went to Miami. Guess Giannis needs more help.
Yea the East was much weaker then. Fail again
The right way, the wrong way and the Max Power way
Goddamn y’all can’t wait to get to 2021 already :smh:

It’s nothing really to worry about yet. They gotta ace their drafting and hope for the best because it’ll always be easier to convince Giannis to leave than it is for someone to join him there. For whatever reason having the most promise in the NBA means nothing depending on where you play. Meanwhile Lonzo and a loud dad can convince LeBron to be interested in the Lakers’ future. It’s fukked up but it beez that way

Too much leaving shyt to chance for what has mostly been a historically shytty franchise. Kareem won them a chip and got himself the fukk outta there to cement his status as one of the 3 greatest of all time with another literal handful of rings.

A talent like Giannis can't retire ringless. He needs to leave the first chance he gets. He should never have signed that extension.

I disagree, the Bucks need creation in the worst way, basically everyone they have outside of Giannis is 3 & D. Even with Jabari back that need would still be there, you need a creator to get the rest of the team easy buckets and someone that Giannis can play off of at times. To me it's pretty obvious Brogdon is a SG playing PG, he simply cannot break anyone down or create offense for himself reliably, I like him as a player but he shouldn't be viewed as some untradeable core piece.

This isn't about just being ok either, you have a franchise level talent without another top 30 player to go along with him. It's about putting the right roster around him to keep him long term, and to be a contender not just a good team. I kept saying last year was the perfect opportunity to miss the playoffs so they could get one of those PGs, hell Donovan Mitchell would have been a huge upgrade for them with a much higher upside than Brogdon and you would have been able to keep them both. Making the playoffs insured they were out of the range to pick any of the guards, so they took DJ Wilson who is yet another player that needs someone to spoon feed them.
