:what:

What's wrong with this comparison? Both are dope and they use the same beat. A prime Kurupt was arguably a better rapper than Pac too :manny:

Nothing wrong with it I see the point but imo Pac joint is head and shoulders better than that DPG joint.

Kurupt better than Pac no one argues that now you buggin:usure:

And that's cool, nothing wrong with that either.

I mean strictly from a lyrical/rapping ability standpoint, Pac was obviously the better artist and all and made better albums, but Kurupt was arguably better on the mic during his prime.

Of course people are gonna say 2pac automatically becuz thats the version they're more familiar with. Its just nature.

And Dogg Pounds joint wasnt even finished (mix, mastered & etc), its a demo version. So its a unfair comparison.

I know, it's also the clean version of the song, but it still sounds dope to me.

Are people seriously offended by Kurupt being a better rapper? As if that can't be debated lol, you PAC stans are second to Nas in nut clinging.

Good thread OP. But I'd give PAC the edge here.

I will agree with some of this and I am a huge Pac fan, bought every last cd since 2Pacalypse Now, however I am a big DPG fan. Kurupt is fukking cold on the mic and has a razor sharp lyrics and style that is not matched by many, however he was always in a group, 2Pac always came with a message in his lyrics whether it was about police violence, single mother hardships, etc. 2Pac with the exception of Digital Underground always did his solo stuff and got that huge public fanbase from the hits he dropped. Now if Kurupt got the push that Pac got with numerous solo albums, the right mixing and mastering and production :jbhmm:

Kurupt, especially from '92-'96, was so lethal :whew:. One of the best IMO.

He was still killin after, ca '97-'99/'00, but it felt like he was goin down a bit IMO.

Kurupt was so mf sharp as an emcee. Had his career parlayed the way it should and he was more consistant then he'd be ranked way up higher. Definitely one of my favorites still.

Yeah, I agree with this here, which is why I think Pac was the better artist overall. He was a better songwritter than Kurupt and was the complete package.
