Parents doing the most. My guess is the school changed the route and the parents and/or students didn’t like it so the kids refused to get off the bus. And of course the parents took the side of their kids. Bus driver lady was doing her job

They probably knew but didn’t agree with it or there was a breakdown in communication. A lot of important info now a days get sent out via email. But the students definitely knew about it and refused to get off at the new stop.

from what i know, kids have designated bus stops for a reason. the safety of the kids. same reason the city bus wont just let you off in the middle of the street. my question is.. why was the bus so late? was she stopping every 10 feet to yell at the kids?

i remember being that age and i remember how horrible we all were

i generally side with teachers though. a whole lot of parents are dumb and entitled and think that just because they reproduced, their children are flawless little angels.

100% on the parents if the bus driver is following the designated route. They're given explicit instructions to not deviate from said route. They're responsible for those kids, and if anything happens, they're out of a job at best and facing legal prosecution at worst. If the parents have an issue with the proximity of the designated stop, they need to find an alternative means of transportation or take it up with the administration who designates the route.
