Roc by far, Musically and as an MC
How you gonna put 2 of literally only the 4 or maybe 5 rappers I actually seek out to listen to sometimes against each other like this? Smh. Can't pick, love em both for totally different reasons.
Roc is entertaining as fukk, lol, he has literally zero content/subject matter but I enjoy what he does with the rhyming and I'm a huge fan of the drumless/stripped down beats with the soul samples and shyt, love that sound.
Boldy is just raw... witty af and nice af...he's montone tho and can get a little boring after while if that shyt bothers you...but I just love his delivery and style and all that, he's dope.
If I had to pick just one I'd probably pick Roc but only because of his overall sound...not because he's better necessarily. If I had to play rap music for someone who doesn't like rap music to try and make them get into it I'd play Boldy before Roc.

Roc is wittier. Funnier. More original. More creative. And is also a producer and pioneer. His best projects are also better than Boldy's best joints but I love Boldy. nikka is literally one of the best out right now.
Funnier...more original, more creative, musically more inclined because he's also a producer...that's all pretty much factual, I have no retort. Not that I'd want to have one, lol, Roc my nig.
Someone could say Boldy has better content...better lyrics...way less scatterbrained and all over the place, better presence on the mic, etc... and I couldn't necessarily say they're wrong either tho.

I like Boldy alot. Not really a fan of Roc's music like that, but I consider Roc to be a more talented emcee.
