The rappers y'all call struggle rappers. They aren't really struggling like you think. They make a comfortable amount of money, they get to do what they love (make music) without the microscope and super pressures of fame.

Questlove is like the hip hop wikipedia. He can tell you stories on Jay-Z, Michael Jackson, J Dilla, ATCQ, Mos Def. He is everywhere.

Here's the thing, the thread starter asked us who do you think has the most enjoyable life......I'm pretty sure he enjoys his life and believe me I would too if I lived his life.......but he has had a lot of uncertainty in his career and I just think their are other artists with more enjoyable lives......the roots used to tour like 200 times a year, more than just about anyone. I don't care how much u love music, that type of tour schedule wears you down......it's NOT enjoyable to say goodbye to your children for half the year to work, whether you love it or not. I'm not sure what he personally feels but this is just opinion based on how I would feel if I were a member of the roots.
