No........He works way too hard for his life to be enjoyable (even being that he loves what he does.) I'm all for working hard but Quest is far from the richest cat in hip hop. I've seen dude do a show then go immediately DJ a party afterwards for hours and for the longest time people slept on the Roots. Even after they became a success if you read his book you see there was all types of questions and uncertainty about his career.

I think this is truly an interesting discussion and it's a dialogue I wish we could have more within the black community........So many rappers are doing nothing more but portraying and image and kids are eating it up, forgoing other career choices and putting all their eggs into this rap life so I do think it'd be cool to talk about the real quality of life rappers, producers, engineers, etc have since it seems so many people aspire to be one these days.

You decide what and how Questlove enjoys his life? He enjoys music, and is doing music in some way or another almost all day every day.
He may not be the richest, although he made Forbes Top 20 earners in Hip-Hop tied with Rick Ross.

Questlove is like the hip hop wikipedia. He can tell you stories on Jay-Z, Michael Jackson, J Dilla, ATCQ, Mos Def. He is everywhere.
