Yeah it seems like she's definitely convinced she needs a Hispanic running mate, preferably a Mexican. Her camp really seems to fear Bush/Rubio's potential appeal with Hispanics. If someone like Walker wins the GOP nomination and for some reason Rubio doesn't want the VP slot, I could see Hiliary going with Cory Booker or Sherrod Brown. They each would be able to drum up support in Midwestern cities better than she probably could. Brown would shore up support from Labor and Booker would do the same with Black voters.

Have a hard time seeing her ticketing up with another women. If she needs credibility with the left that badly she'll go Sherrod Brown. Plus going with a white New Yorker would be redundant.
Candidates don't really look for "qualifications" in regards to picking a VP anymore. It's all about diversity of the ticket.
That's why Rubio keeps being mentioned for VP for the R's despite still being a prez candidate.

Why isn't Joe Biden running?
Biden runs the race becomes hella interesting. Biden could really hurt Clinton among moderates and minorities. Leaves space for Sanders on the left and maybe opens up lanes for O'Malley with Hispanics.

A better question would be why would anyone want him to run? He is the same Biden who ran two times before and never even made a blip on the radar in any of the Dem primaries. He is the same Biden who is a verbal gaffe machine whenever he is presented a microphone. He is the same Biden who said there was no need for Net Neutrality. He is the same Biden who actually wrote the shytty "tough on crime" bills that Bill Clinton signed into law. He is the same Biden who pushed the bankruptcy revisions that were basically a hand job to the credit card companies. He is the same Biden that has wanted a federal Internet tax. He is the same Biden that has been a whore for the RIAA and pushing any shytty anti-consumer idea they could think up but luckily he failed.
Joe Biden sucks...always has and always will. The only reason he was even selected as Obama's VP is because he is a harmless charming buffoon who was supposed to have developed such good relationships with the other members of the Senate that he could help push through Obama's legislative ideas and we all saw how useless he was in that area.
