One of the BIGGEST things about the legend of NWA was that they were the first to start speakin about that real trap/dope life and being apart of it. Melle Mel spoke on the conditions and what was happening around "Broken glass, everywhere..." but not from the perspective of the one pushin the shyt to get by in the hood (trappin).

How is that when too short was speakin about it in 83?

plus nwa was GANGSTA rappers they sprinkled a lil dope rhymes here and there but definitely wasnt no trap rappers. They raps was mostly about shooting and killin.
