Who Dropped The Most Heat in 90's SNES OR GENESIS ?

All that Sega CD 32x shyt had nothing to do with Nintendo.Sega was winning when that shyt dropped.Everyone was working on CD tech then even Nintendo(with Sony sadcam).It was dumb idea and had they focused on the genesis instead of a new console they may still be around today.

Sega had a 2 year head start but by 93 Nintendo was taking over. Sonic was killing but Donkey Kong still outsold it. They panicked and started trying gimmicks even though they were doing pretty well in It was the extra add ons that fukked them over that gen. And that's not me hating either because the CD has two GOAT level games in Sonic CD and Lunar: Eternal Blue.

But gaming wise I just don't see it in favor of the Genesis. SNES had more depth in RPG, Fighting, and Platformer. Beat Em Ups are a toss up and sports goes to the Genesis.

Is Mario really that much better than Sonic?No.

Are those cchrono trigger or secret man games yall brought up 100 times really that much better than phantasy star or shining force?No.

Mario, Megaman X, Donkey Kong, Super Metroid, Super Castlevania are classic patformers with Sonic. But it's just really Sonic and maybe Shinobi and Lion King and like Vectorman

Chrono Trigger may be the GOAT game period, or Final Fantasy III on how you see it. Then you got FFIV, Zelda, Earthbound, Mario RPG. It's not even fair. But Phantasy Star is great though.

What are the top 5 Genesis games? Like what were it's killer apps? Everybody and their mother can name 5 legendary titles on the SNES. I can think of... Sonic... Sonic 2... what else did Genesis have that crushed buildings? Please don't say "Streets of Rage". While a good game, it was no better than Double Dragon or Final Fight. Definitely not a killer app by any means.

I would say SNES - but that's of course because I had one. But really it didn't matter between the two because they were both dope as fukk. If you went to a buddy's house and they had a Genesis instead of a Super Nintendo you still knew you were going to I remember the first time I played the Genesis for hours at a friend's house and we were playing Street of Rage and trying to beat it.
