I wasn't around during the SOHH days but I’ve been on The Coli for 5 years (anniversary coming up) after lurking on here since 2015ish as a banned refugee from City-Data. Soon as a found out that The Coli was Black-owned, it instantly caught my interest. Matter of fact, the very first subforum on here that introduced me to The Coli was The Root….Soon as I stepped foot in The Booth, TLR, and Arcadium, it was game over.

Like I said I was on SOHH since 1999 but only around 1/3 of America had internet in 2001. No social media, etc.
I remember there being a big thread on 9/11 but the internet wasn't fully popping enough in 2001, for something like that to get the amount of traffic you'd expect.

i joined up SOHH from navigator netscape, forum came up in search results
joined immediately when i seen a thread saying jay-z dissed big pun on mind right remix (he was dissin meeno)
and ever since that day i made it my job to correct misinformation
