Full disclosure: that song came out when I was a li'l dude. I didn't make the connections off top. lol
What I got from that song was:

- There was a bad kid in it who wound up in the gutter
- Dude didn't recognize his own face (my big sister had to tell me what the "3 letters" were)
- Left Eye saw a rainbow one day

I had no idea wtf any of that had to do with bodies of water...
