Who else is reading the IDW Transformers comics?

I think the only other poster on here that I know is reading them is @Urbanmiracle , but this is the best fiction that G1 has had in forever. James Roberts has given the Transformers a seriously interesting back story, especially some characters that were really kind of static. The biggest example is

Shockwave being an idealistic senator who had his body and personality altered because he was trying to help Orion Pax and others expose the Senate.

The fact that they've introduced forms of classism into Cybertronian society and shown that the Autobots aren't the good guys the rest of the world sees them to be has been fun to read.

I never gave that one a chance, honestly ... nowadays if it's not straight G1 (or Prime), I don't really mess with it.

But you should really give the newer ones a shot. Start with the Infiltration series (written by Simon Furman Da Gawd )
