Yesterday I said fukk cable and cut that shyt off.

I was paying over $100.00 a month for all those channels and I only watched 5% of them. so many reality shows etc that my brain just got tired. 99% of what they show on TV is bullshyt. The news only reports bad news or dumb shyt. TV really shows how fukked up society is.

I'm going to take a break from watching TV for 30 days. This includes going to the movies or watching movies on the computer. I will read a book instead.

yeah.. man fukk it. I'm really going until the end of November so I will miss all of playoff baseball and a big chunk of football season. I can't watch college football with no playoff system no more. by the end of november if my nfl team is out of contention well, what did I really miss? If they are in contention.. shyt is just getting started.

My goal is change my tv viewing habits as a result of this. I will listen to more music and read more.

i'm only here hear when I'm at work 90 % of the time. Besides I literally don't watch TV like that no more. Even NFL, I only care about my own team. I can download shows I watch like Treme for example and view when the drought is over. I just feel like too much is a waste. I get more out of coming here and can be more productive than watching TV

I feel what you're saying about only watching 5% of the channels. I wish you could pick what channels you wanted and only pay for that. The ONLY thing I watch on TV is sports. Everything else I download and watch at my convenience.
But I gotta have cable for my babies.
Nick Jr and Noggin are a must.

except for UFC and downloading the shows i actually want to watch (bBreaking Bad etc) i didn't watch tv for almost 1.5 years. no news, no bullshyt reality shows, nothing. i didn't miss a damn thing
