Bruh I been going back and listening to a lot of Redman again and I started listening back his music from like 2012 to 2018 when dropping a lot of just random songs in preparation for Muddy Waters 2 and so much of that music just sounds like some shyt Ludacris would do. It was Redman just having fun without any edge to his music

But you said it best, after Malpractice is when he started dropping a lot of forgettable music

Em’s fall with Encore was so bad it almost seemed like he was trolling with Encore. These days Em sounds like a robot who’s only gift of gab being super lyrical but without any emotion or enthusiasm behind it at all. He sounds bored

Encore was bad but there were still remnants of old Em on there. And I know that Relapse was polarizing but it's better than anything Red did post Malpractice. It's almost a push if you ask me but at least Eminem, if it matters, was in the spotlight with features and songs on them mid ass albums. Red was practically MIA in the 2010s

Facts

The moments of old Em on Encore are better than what he was doing on Recovery, Revival and Kamikaze and MM LP 2

Release was like him trying to return to Slim Shady LP but your right, he at least sounded like he was tuned with the music and in tact with his performance on the album

Red’s 2010’s run was that Mudface project and a bunch of just random songs he was throwing out without any real sense pride about the music it felt like. It seemed like he was just throwing shyt out there on some “my stans will eat it up” type shyt

Man, remember when he dropped his last album, Reggie on Def Jam?:snoop:

Remember when Treach wrote for Eazy :russ:And it was dope as fukk :dead:

That's Treach on the hook :pachaha:and that's Treach with his trademark sound-effect lyrics, over the top imagery and rapid fire flow. I don't know how I didn't catch that back then. :snoop: At least I caught it when he wrote for Da Yungstas and Illegal

I've never listened to an Eminem album ever, so I'm gonna have to say Redman.

Red arguably released 3 straight classics, then a very good, not great album in Doc's Da Name, contributed greatly to Blackout with Meth, but then outta nowhere Malpractice effectively marked the beginning of the end, and he hasn't recovered since, although Muddy Waters 2 is arguably his best album in over 20 years.

Redman falling off is news to me:unimpressed:

bruh might of gotten less sharp with time but he didn't have 5 personality changes and 10 mental breakdowns whilst releasing the musical equivalents of dragging your nails across a blackboard like Eminem did :yeshrug:
