this...

Red music really reflects how happy he is in life and I cant be mad at that. But compared to that rugged Red, big fall off

Easily one of my favorite MC's of all-time. By far!

And I want dude to be good, but I saw him on IG the other day in front of a mic doing the running man and dancing, and I was thinking to myself, "This MF too damn happy now". Looking at my phone like..

:scust:

LOL!!

Right? :russ:

Yeah that’s what makes it hard to really hate on Red’s music because dude deserves to be happy after all the years of his hard work

Dude genuinely seems like he’s the happiest he’s ever been with just sky diving and just doing interviews these days

I never liked Redman music. I have never ever just played a redman song ever. Or listened to one of his albums. I could never get into that non serious tone in his music.

em first 3 albums I liked a lot. Then Encore happened and I ain’t never liked shyt from him since

he legit got more weak albums than strong ones. Dude apologized for like 3 of em.

so Eminem fell off harder

Go listen to Redman on EPMD’s Hardcore and Brothers On My Jock right now

Red came in the game raw, hard and aggressive as fukk.

They say the artist that truly suffers, his stuff is the best
'Cause his heart bleed on his sleeve: pain, pistols and sex

I don't think it's impossible to make great music when you're happy, not by a long shot. But it's true that a lot of artists make their best work when they're in a dark place. They have to get it out somehow and channel their pain into their music. You have young, hungry artists wanting to make it out of poverty, you have established artists go through headaches in the industry or their personal life after they get famous, or you have older artists with something to prove if everyone's counting them out.

Naw I’m good. I like street or life base music

I’m not trying hear a dude rap about funky asses

Bruh, just listen to the two songs.

It’s ironic you liked Eminem’s music when he’s been heavily influenced from Redman.

If you’ve never listened to a Red song or album, what makes you say he raps about funky asses? :pachaha:

You missing out

Bruh literally had everything it takes to be a great emcee which is what he was

There’s a reason why Eminem worships him and it’s because Red in his prime was one of the most original emcees to ever embrace hip hop
