this and i heard day one first on a tony touch mixtape so it always stuck with me more.

by the time puff's lp came out, i was like "of course, puff jacked another beat..."

plus back then, hearing L and them over that beat held more weight in my eyes than hearing big and especially jay who was just another guy to me until vol. 1 dropped...
