Pimp C was dissing Atlanta. He was one of the few rappers smart enough to know that Atlanta isn't the South, it's an East Coast city. Pimp hated Atlanta. His statements about the gay rappers and all the fake thugs lying about selling dope were prophetic. Look at the state of hip hop today in 2015,they promote this garbage everywhere and it's all coming out of Atlanta.

This song pretty much sums it up. The east coast only played NY music no matter how much buzz west coast and southern artists had. Thats why the South vowed never to let the east back on top once we took the crown. NY djs, music stations, clubs, etc would only support NY artists
