To be fair, if Big Show gave a legit spear to someone he would kill them. Honestly he shouldn't be doing the move at all unless it's a finisher and he puts more effort in it. Getting tackled at full speed by a 500 pound man should be something that you don't kick out of.

roman just needs to crank up his in ring presence to high volume, learn some tips from his cousin on how to do that, and yeah his spear aint bad, but he really shouldnt be hitting it that often, his matches are like samoan drop, super man punch, spear, superman punch, spear finish. Its not science, theyre there to perform and put on a show, mix it up a bit and always keep the crowd cheering.

batista's underrated with it too.

Aj, was the best selling grappler on the WWE roster and selling is the key component in any match.
Or you don't have the exhibition properties available to say you had a wrasslin match.
A wrasslin match with no selling is pretty much a squash.

So, you can't discredit aj.
Aj was great as a WWE performer given what they require of them and take from them as inring talents.

Waste finisher. Even used to think it was lame when Hacksaw finished with his running tackle in the midcard but when everyone started making out like a spear was a main event finisher it felt like someone had just phoned it in.

If it was just used occasionally by the odd monster like Rhyno then MAYBE but Roman Reigns needs something much, much better.
