Way too high. Anywhere that allows stacks like that needs an OSHA visit asap. For a small amount of time I worked at a warehouse where they allowed something similar but not as extreme and they had a bunch of faulty equipment on top of that. Never felt so paranoid in my life

Prolly was tryna downstack, but wasn't experienced enough to know he should start at the top

that doesn't explain why there are already a shytload of cans on the ground. like.... wouldn't you try to clean up first? that may be getting in the way of him bringing pallets down successfully. idk, i got actual degrees so what do i know lol

shyt might've already collapsed from being retardedly stacked so he decided to bring the others down before they did the same, but he just had the wrong approach. Idk I deal with pallets and restack stupid shyt every day what do I know lol

Warehouse engineer here, they aren’t stacked too high but there are major issues.

When you stack pallets of cans or other cylindrical items of a certain height you need to stack with an offset. You do not stack the pallets 4 high that tall directly on top of one another, that’s just creating a highly unstable stack. With this I would have designed two straight stacks then the 3rd and 4th levels on a 2 foot offset.

2nd there is no way I would even allow them to pick or put those pallets with a double stack, and it looks like this cat was going for a triple stack. Hell naw. That is some crazy shyt. Only allow double stack movement if each pallet is 54 inches or less. These stacks are way higher than 55 inches.

Overall this is just an unsafe setup. With the stacks they have and employees not following proper procedures that shyt was bound to happen.
