But GKMC is a certified classic.

If It Was Written isn't a classic than neither is the Blueprint or Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous.

It Was Written is easily better than the overrated Blueprint and Good Kid, M.a.ad City. It's one of the best albums of the mafioso rap genre, you had the track where Dre and Nas came together in the middle of the east and west beef. I Gave You Power is one of the greatest rap songs, dude rapped as if he were a gun he inspired Tupac to write Me and my Girlfriend. The album went 2x Platinum in the same year, it received 4 to 5 Mics from most critics. How is an album with songs like "I Gave You Power", "If I Ruled the World", "Street Dreams", "The Message", "Affirmative Action", etc. not a classic? Then you have guys like Kendrick, Lupe Fiasco calling it one of their favorite albums.

This is such a lopsided win for the east that you could allow every 4 mic or better album from the west (up until rap died around...say 1998) and the east still laps the west.
