Nas, though it's an iconic song, haunting beat and reflective, introspective lyrics....Nas cut way deeper, esp as you get older.....and was way more revealing about himself and his demons. Nas was dark as fukk in those early 2000, late 99 days, the isolation and aftermath of fame and success, he was baring his soul on these tracks....As an introverted intj type, this verse often reflects my mood and feelings about as accurately as rap can. 'I can't fukk myself, when hoes leave, and no weed, I still know me, just myself', but there was time when this wasn't as true as it is now, and for Nas too, I suspect.
