I really don't think we've heard the true OG of this song or however many evolutions it went through before that premix and the retail. Check it:

Mefs bars with the "Add another verse to the murder record" are his usual type of slickness and I'd be willing to bet he was added later because it was originally a Ja, X and Nas joint. Nas heard it, rerecorded his bars. That and the whole track feels like its been chopped up and stitched together as, once again, the title is based on Mefs last bar (which is an odd count with a gap as well) and totally skips the "Dogs 4 Life" theme which is what I suspect it was originally called before the studio bait and switch.

Likely a different beat as well but thats all just a guess...
