Nas came off like the ignorant nikka who somehow got into some AP classes in high school in a white suburb.. :ohlawd:

I remember hearing this for the first time and was :gladbron:... like " THIS nikka IS THE shyt"

I'd have to lean with Snoop for the better verse, just cause his whole cadence and command let you know that he knew he was the shyt, and that you think he's the shyt too.

we aint voting on this shyt, we just gon' talk about it.

lol hard to choose though, they both had good verses. I'm with Nas, but won't argue against Snoop. Snoop's charisma and flow was immaculate. He was that niggga.

But Nas though "Verbal Assassin, my architect pleases/When I was 12, I went to hell for snuffin' Jesus" :ohlawd:

Snoop...

The first time I heard him I remember my mind being blown.. I had never heard anyone like him in my life...His tone and voice inflections were alien..

That shyt was so disrespectful, and profound at the same time.... there was no way to NOT like that shyt.

I wont say either or but the first thing that came to my mind when I heard both was "who the fukk is that?"

honestly, when I first heard Deep Cover, I will NEVER forget where I was...I was driving over in the projects where some of my folk were. I first thought it was Smooth B because the voices sounded so similar but Snoop not as deep (like Smooth B sped up). After a while I was like, fukk no, this aint Smooth B, that nikka aint THAT vicious on the mic.

Live at the BBQ, I loved the whole track and all the verses (especially Nas and Akinyele) and mustve played it a hundred times.

shyt is too hard to choose. Really.

Tough choice, but both were incredible debuts. Easily 2 of the most memorable.

Nas was like ahead of his time & Snoop was just from another world.

Snoop. Nas was just some dude that killed it on a posse track

although that's not really a comparison of the verses...
