Slight edge to Curry because he hadn't played in two and a half weeks. It was absolutely remarkable what he did. He left his own coach speechless.

"That was crazy." :wow:

KD was better. OKC needed that game or their season was essentially over. There's no way OKC could've gone back to San Antonio down 3-1. Plus you have to add the fact he did it against Kawhi Leonard.

No offense to Steph Curry, but I'm still positive Golden state could've beaten Portland with or without steph curry.

Ima go with Steph. Both were extremely impressive.

He ended the 3rd with 13 points. He put the game into OT and single handedly put his team on his back during that period.

You can go either way..I will go with Steph since it was his first game since injury, and that OT was just crazy. He took over and made it his game.

Durant has always been an underrated defender but dude was showing signs of lockdown potential.

The dude had been working out or something because he's not giving ground to physicality like he used to.

Well for starters, KD was:
- More efficient
- Doing it against the best defender in the NBA/2x DPOY and not the worst defensive backcourt in the entire league.
- Doing it against a team that won 67 games and not a team that most people didn't even expect to be in the Playoffs and was gift-wrapped a 2nd round berth.
- Didn't need to chuck up a metric shyt ton of shots to get his 40.
- Cooked the man guarding him then went back on D and clamped him. Leonard 0-5 against KD in 2nd half. Something Curry can't do.

Come on. :stopitslime:

Isn't Durant's 41 points the most anyone has scored against San Antonio this season?

I think Kd's performance is more impressive but Steph's 40 will be more iconic
