The warriors have pieces that mesh better as a team than the Clippers. Kinda like the Spurs.

On paper the talent is comparable.

In reality Curry has the perfect supporting cast for him. Can't say the same for Paul.

As far as raw basketball talent the Clippers.

No, it's not. How could it be ? look at more than just the best 3 players on each team, especially since we are talking about LAST YEARS clipper supporting cast. How is this even a debate ? :dahell:

People really don't understand how deep the warriors are. They benefit from all the players making names for them self while playing with each other. If steph struggled for 6 years and then had Klay and Draymond come to the warriors after making a name for them self on different teams we may look at everything differently.

Curry and it's not even close.

Bogut is a much better defender than overrated DeAndre.
Pierce is a bum now.
Josh Smith isn't used.
Redikk can shoot 3's and free throw's, that's about it.
Crawford is a huge liability.
Blake is the only really good player on the Clippers.
Barnes has looked great this season, would be a starter on the Clip show.
Thompson is a top 5 shooting guard.
Draymond is one of the better playmaking bigs in the league.
Iggy still has some left in the tank as we saw in the finals.

Chris Paul has far more offensive talent around him and it's not that close. Much of Curry's help advantage comes on the other end of the floor.

dumb thread. obviously it's steph. they are the deepest team in the league
not so fast.

You exchange Paul and Curry...and the Clippers probably win last year.

Doc Rivers, Deandre Jordan, Paul Pierce, Blake Griffin, JJ Redikk (Jamal Crawford)
Steve Kerr, Andrew Bogut, Harrison Barnes, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson (Andre Igoudala)

:laff: Answer the question again. It is a very close argument. Because as far as individuals go:

Blake >>> Draymond Green
Deandre > Andrew Bogut (Bigger, better defender, more athletic, more reliable, better free throw shooter?)
Paul Pierce >> Harrison Barnes
JJ Reddikk < Klay Thompson
Jamal Crawford = Andre Igou (For what jamal lacks in defence he's better than Andre in offence)

There are obviously more players but fukk it...ima roll with Paul
