Ja wasn't the victim of the Interscope machine. Ja Rule had already gone from being a triple platinum artist in '01 to platinum in '02. This was before any of this popped off. He was getting flack for biting Pac and even The Source was pointing this out. His songs were still everywhere and Ja still had hits going into 2005 ("New York") amidst the beef and backlash.
