Jeezy is a legend my nikka. And you are discounting all his classic mixtapes too. He's just not a legend to YOU

you should have to specify what type of actual legend jeezy is.
jeezy is a street legend guy.
who is a former platinum selling rapper.

dually, jeezy is not a legendary emcee, who is a legendary street guy.
as jeezy is not an emcee, and we know he does not write any of his shyt.

i also, notice nikkaz are not bringing up any factual negativity about ti, culturally or fukkery wise.
when, ti has corny moments that occur realistically in actual fukk'n life.
why people continue to gloss over the full story about ti and jeezy.
from social to culturaly to music is hilarious.
plus, indicative of nikkaz not being really on the facts and just voting for their favorite.
not to mention, fukk'n luda would and has served ti and would massacre jeezy, in a battle.

the argument from this thread seems to boil down to the streets from some posters which jeezy and t.i. both edge out ludacris.

now as far as hits, radio play, album sales luda easily trumps both of them.

on the real,...this thread has not been about skills and who really had the best career.

it is more welled in personal like, than the actual real.

This is what I'm not getting:

1) Jeezy never had a song that resonated with the streets and the charts in the same manner that "What You Know About That".

2) Unlike Jeezy, T.I. and Luda have several hit records without guests that are bigger than them

3) Both T.I. and Luda are far better rappers and songwriters than Jeezy.

Comparing Jeezy to either of the two is like comparing Rick Ross to Kanye West and Lil' Wayne and asking "who had the better career". People in here coppin' pleas saying "oh, the thread starter clarified what he meant". No the thread starter didn't clarify anything. The OP backtracked after realizing how ridiculous of a comparison of T.I. and Luda to Jeezy in regard to careers. Quality of music is a part of a career, but it a career is a lot more than that. If we're discussing the quality of music here, it's the title of the thread that needed changing, not "clarifying what was actually meant" as it still doesn't support the title of the thread.

:what: are you really gonna sit up here and front like Trap Muzik and urban legend weren't impactful albums?

nope.

because i never said that.

urban legend tho?:patrice: more like the singles. i would replace that with KING.

nikka, jeezy whole entire lane was from ti terraform'n it for jeezy.
to subsequently be able to draw and have an audience.
to the point, jeezy bites ti from top to bottom all over trap or die, and 101.
plus, tip even makes one of the best features on the whole project.
what are you saying,..
it, is supported by no fact.
plus, indicative of purposefully ignoring what factually occurred, in the marketplace and products releases from jeezy.

this is stuff that you argue about in a who's better thread. this is about who had the best career.

and who cares anyway? tip did his trappy stuff of the back of cool breeze & others. does that mean that they had better careers than him? no. the same way jeezy took what tip was doing to the next level. most trap rappers are influenced by jeezy's way of doing things.

Of course the streets:dahell:...Like you always lets keep it about the music:whoa:....Luda was fun to listen to like Fab or Cassidy was fun to listen to back in the day.....but he never in his life made music that connected with the streets like TI did...TI was the hottest nikka in the streets at one time,Luda?absolutley never:mjlol:....nikkas just fuked wit a few of his songs heavy and knew he'd give you some bars, but its no comparison.

And Luda makin songs like this

how u gon talk about TI pandering(as much as ive complained its getting embarrassing:snoop:)...Luda just to irrelevant for people to notice right now,no disrespect...and difference between TI and Luda is unfortunately in retrospect his old material is retroactively corny cuz it hasn't aged well, much like a lot of early 2000's music....TI don't have that problem,Jeezy don't have that problem:sas2:

And look here,Jeezy had the same cartoonish rhymes and delivery as Luda,he just not only executed it better and had better production to back it up......lyrically its not even close as TI brings you a timeless style,a throwback to the old guard:banderas:....Ludas style as we now know had a expiration date before the glass slipper came off and his style became cringe status...much like early Fab and old Cassidy

TI is a timeless taste of emceeing....Ludas shyt was cute at the time:sas1:...but "What You Know" status:childplease:....timessless beats of the moment fad skills all day everyday.

Jeezy did what Luda failed to do and gave us cartoonish rhymes that not only aged well(Trap or Die and tm101 is still quoteable front to back)....but he's stayed true to that but BUILT on that and put out much better music...all 3 have had moments of greatness, killed alotta features...but Luda aint in the same category even though we appreciate em....its clear Jeezy and Ti are the co kings of the 2000's era and Luda cant say shyt about it:sas1:

:why: did you type all of this jibber-jabber?

all i said was that luda destroyed tip MULTIPLE TIMES. and its common knowledge. i wasnt arguing who was better or had the better career between them.

lol @ TI being a timeless taste of emceeing. sure, if youre a 20 & under radio-head.:laff: in terms of pure mc'ing, ludacris is clearly the best out of the three.

Ti is a throwback,Luda was a fad whos ability stinks in retrospect:heh:? Shaming 20 and under radio heads while you defend Ludacris:laff:...He's a 20 and under radio heads wet dream,he's made for radio and nothing more....and you the one asked me to explain how Luda gets more respect in the streets and how he gets more respect for his lyricial ability and you would wait for me explain it,dont act like I came outta left field explaining myself for no reason:childplease:.

i didnt ask you about the streets or lyrical ability.

i clearly just asked you how tip gets more respect from the rap game, and you conveniently ducked right past it and started responding to questions that i never asked.

luda is a fad? i didnt know fads lasted 10-11 years. and stop acting like luda didnt have dope albums and is some sort of pop rapper, cuz that distinction would go to tip first.

One is a rappers rapper and is taken seriously by fans as an emcee, one is fad its quite simple....and fads don't last for decades, thats why nikkas stopped caring about Luda in about 2005:camby:...Is he still breathing? yes....But peoples opinions relevant to hiphop didn't give a damn about Luda and haven't for a while now:heh:....He put out some good singles but those "great albums" didn't age well....nikkas actually notice and care about TI's approaching flabbynsick territory as a rapper...Luda died a silent death in the woods and nobody noticed or cared about him falling off.....that's the definition of a fad, when nobody cares as you and your music start to suck:laff:...you just go away quietly as other more capable nikkas take your spot

I gotta say Luda, I would put Tip after that

Luda to me has had the best music in the past making bangers and lyrical shyt and his style was unique too. He's definitely bigger now thanx to his movies

Really, he's back? I can't even remember the last Ludacris song I heard, and I live in Atlanta.
