Quit years ago...

I was a everyday smoker.. When you reach that point, everything you do has to involve smoking weed. Almost to the point where you think you need it to "be ok"....

Once you quit and get all your natural feelings back (and money) (and mental clarity) you realize how dope life is without it..

Nothing beats having a natural sober laugh.

what are you mixing with the weed to make it a struggle to give it up?

I love weed

but if you've identified it as a negative then stop buying it

There is a subreddit called r/leaves that may be of interest to you OP.

Weed is fun, in moderation, like drinking. But like drinking, its disruptive if you're one of those folks who is high almost all day every day. I would say being high every day isn't' good. Especially, if you have a serious career where you need to use your brain and be on top of your shyt. If you have kids, imagine how much time you're wasting being high instead of mentally being there fully with your kids. When you're high all the time, life passes you by and you're in a haze during that time not fully digesting it.

I get the push to normalize weed usage and minimize the stigma to get it to a level in the public consciousness on the level alcohol. But with all the states legalizing it, it seems like a good time to maybe scale that back a bit and maybe have a more realistic view of its impact. Not calling for a ban or anything, but people need to stop acting like it is like some miracle drug and there are no downsides even if the downsides aren't the worst thing in the world.

I haven't smoked since 19.

Why I quite? I quit because I like making money and when I was 19, I missed out on a pretty good job at 19, because I knew I was going to fail the drug test and I said to myself back then that this 10 dollar sack cost me making X ammount of dollars.

Pretty much all of this is why I quit. I been high all the time for too long. Especially with edibles and vapes it’s easier than ever.

I gotta quit. shyt's tough. What are some tips to stay off it? I'm in a legal state too.
Occupy your mind with other means of pleasure

Are you open to outdoor activities? Traveling, photography, rock-climbing, biking, skydiving, white water rafting. This is just a few of activities that puts your adrenaline.

The term "high on life" = surge of excitement and energy

Find out what works for you. Easier than done

I prefer edibles to smoking

Edibles are straight to the point. Less harsh on the lungs. No carcinogens inhaled.

Smoking has increased my tolerance. I often take breaks 1-2 sometimes a month to maintain a luminous state of mind.

Ain't nothing like that first high
