if Nas & Cube are on this list why isn't Prodigy? shyt, Snoop has the west coast equivalent to Nas' work. 1 classic then mad mediocrity.
Because Prodigy's solo work is borderline :trash: Dude sounds like his lifeforce got snatched out of his frame post-Murda Muzik. Ambien Einstein raps like he's been lobotomized and neutered now. He went from being one of the illest street lyricists to the 3rd member of Group Home. Even Alchemist can't save his albums from being mediocre. fukking Nastradamus is better than the best Prodigy solo album.

Common sense tells me to go with Ghost... especially if you give partial credit for OB4CL :banderas:

People tend to shyt on Nas for putting out some inconsistent albums but his top 4 material >>>>>

Illmatic, IWW, The Lost Tapes, Stillmatic + his abundance of great unreleased material it's easy to see why he is held in high regards as having one of the GOAT catalogues. He also got other good albums under his belt like LIG, God's Son.

Jigga gets the same criticism. He has a lot of great albums too in RD, The Blueprint, Black Album, AG are all good money.

nikkas that say Kanye need to stop. :comeon: At best I'll say he has the most consistent catalogue in Hip Hop but he doesn't have no Supreme Clientele/Reasonable Doubt/Illmatic/Ready to Die/All Eyez On Me/OB4CL in his catalogue.

He doesn't have any Life After Deaths/It Was Written/Blueprint/Ironman tier albums either

Da Magnolia
Which one do you think is a GOAT contender?
Rakim was the only one rhyming on those Eric B and Ra albums.

Yeah - mediocre was harsh - but that was the word @OHSNAP! used so I just ran with it :yeshrug:

solo - Nas and Hov discography wise I'd say, overall I'd add Biggie and Pac in that convo too

these four I'd put in god tier :obama: my favorite is redman tho

group duo - outkast, mobb deep, gang starr, clipse, ugk

but I wanna sneak in tha dogg pound, capone n nore and red n meth in there too but their body of work aint comparable to others so there's that, even tho war report is the only album I don't ever skip a track on, those beats are feeding my soul
