They are pretty good in that they have a lot of programs for students to be involved with and have a really quality education if your child wants to pursue it. They have a decent number of low quality students, but they have a lot of top notch ones as well as have a system in place that encourages students to do all they can to succeed.... I mean, we eventually chose conshohocken because the houses were a little better than upper darby area.

Plymouth white marsh school district??? Good school district.
see I was thinking Montgomery county too like Ardmore or the main line, maybe mt airy or chestnut hill.. I used to live in e Lansdowne so im very familiar with upper darby. but to be honest, its getting just as bad as philly. plus upper darby schools are bad. I was considering Delaware but its so boring man I would always end up in philly. I don't see the point in living in Delaware when the pa burbs are just as good.

Darby and only a certain part of Upper Darby is bad like Garrett Road. Highland Park is basically Drexel Hill. I do agree certain small towns are getting bad like Yeadon, Sharon Hill and Collingdale.

Jesus christ, stop quoting me nikka. I hate yo azz.
You can always choose to not answer just saying. Maybe you should stay off the net if I'm having that effect on you. I was just fukking with you cause only a fraud would put another city over the one they are a native of. All that other gibberish about you hate me is :manny: to me. Too bad you hate me cause I could have helped with your dropshipping and got you a couple of extra dollars.

Don't see how you state philly is not comparable to DC when philly is growing crazy as shyt right now. Unbelievable to see fan. When the last time you was in Philly?
This its a nice time to make moves if you can esp in real estate here. Also Philly as a city is doing a lot of nice things. Hell they might even try to keep bars downtown open till 4 to compete. That's small but Philly is doing some good things right now.

Yup and not counting all the buildings and neighborhoods expanding. I believe once the schools are fix people will move back in drones from suburbs. Population could jump higher than Chicago and Houston easily.

shyt people already moving from the burbs and a lot of cats moving in areas that were white now. Its like cats don't see the move. The northeast used to be the you made it area now that shyt starting to look funny in the light now up until you get further down the blvd. if you around Spring Garden its a lot of white people there that weren't just 10/15yrs ago. My boy has a spot around there and he paid 500k for it. That's crazy and not even downtown IMO but that just shows you what they are doing now and wait another 10yrs its going to switch up even more.

Philly has some of he best suburbs in the nation just check the statistics. The schools, shopping easy transportation to the city, things to do and easy access to NY and DC is a plus. I currently live in delware county west to Philly and I love it.

I suggest philly area no bias.
Also have you considered the Baltimore suburbs? Is dc a must?

baltimore is my third choice. charlotte- 4th. but charlotte would still be an 8 hour drive to philly. yes its better than 20 hours. but still.

I just moved with my girl and her two kids to conshohocken just last month (suburb 9 miles from Philly.) I went to college here and lived for a little bit after, so i had familiarity. School district is really good out in the suburbs if you are in Montgomery county, and most schools in delaware county. We have septa walkable to go into the city, there is some nightlife around here in conshohocken/plymouth meeting, and its pretty diverse (in colonial school district). If you want more diversity, or be around more black people, upper darby school district would be a pretty good choice. And like you already pointed out, its much cheaper then DC. She didnt necessarily love Philly coming into it, but she really likes where we live, as there is not much crime.
Upper Darby is trash now

I used to live out there breh

The hood migrated there and took over
