It’s been affecting my attendance tbh

Sometimes hard to sleep or even stay focused while in consistent pain
Me too bruh. I go thru so many jobs it’s crazy. And I have always had really good jobs too. They act like they understand, but they gonna put the business first and not really care . It’s not your fault. You deserve that 100

Congrats bro.

Keep in mind that no bytch is too good for you.

It said P/T? I’ve had 100% for over 5 years I thought it flipped over normally but if there’s a way I could apply for P/T I would take it just so trump or whoever can’t suddenly declare me “healed”. just because I don’t spend half my life in a VA hospital.
From what I heard your rating can become static. Basically P/T after you turn 55. But if your younger than that then if your not P/T they can re evaluate you and possibly lower your rating.

I may be wrong but I thought that’s what I read.

Edit: Just looked it up.

  • The VA may grant a permanent rating if the veteran's condition has persisted without improvement for at least five years.

  • The VA may grant a permanent rating if the veteran is over 55 years old.

So if you had a rating consistent for 5 years they may give you permanent rating. Have you looked into the benefits letter recently

Nah I didn’t look at it and being overseas I haven’t been getting treatment for years so I assumed that I’d either be on the chopping block or Ok.

I’m way younger than 55 so I’m fukked there.

I would like the P/T rating especially since the Ratings gravy train is coming to an end.

Did you specifically ask for it or did they just grant it to you?

Because I’m one of those guys that you wouldn’t assume is disabled if you saw me but my paperwork says otherwise and athough I don’t want to play that game I do have a Combat action badge and Purple Heart

Man I worked for the actual VA in the building were the boss is not far from his floor and they were questioning why I needed so much time off to go to the VA.

They actually pressed me out of the job meaning they got me so mad that I resigned. It was wild that I had to show them the regulation to the VA that said I could get more time off to deal with VA appointments.

My Non Vet supervisors where hating hard.

The only thing I’ll give them is that a major process of handling money was coming online ( not related to benefits but day to day operations) so I did need to be there to handle that but I could’ve and should’ve sued the fukk out of them.

I was so mad that I just wanted to bounce and took the Navy job that I had until I had to bounce from that.

Personally they just gave it to me. But maybe my rep requested it. Depends on your disability. I think they assess your disability and just give it to you if they feel it’s extreme enough. It’s just a part of the rating process ic they determine 100%…If you got something like epilepsy for example, that shyt is permanent in they eyes so you gonna get it automatically. Depends on what you got rated for.

exactly that’s how all ratings are awarded they just give it to you.

Granted I was fighting to stay in but I retired with 60% then they immediately bumped it to 70% I held steady at 70 then they gave me 90% which I was good with because I didn’t want unemployable.

Then I pulled the trigger by applying for a rating for something the VA already acknowledged that I had and was treating me for then I got the 100% letter.

Never a dime in backpay mind you.

But since I was actually retiring overseas I just took the 100 and didn’t trip.

Maybe I should’ve.

You literally be fainting and shyt?

Did you have dental issues due to epilepsy or was that regular dental shyt?
