Most people dislike their jobs but for the ones that do like their job what do you do and why do you like it.

I'm in the tech field and I enjoy my job cause I get a lot of say in how our site is run and also I don't gotta deal with shytty customers and coworkers. I'm usually on my computer with my headphones on in the zone. Plus the money is good.

Getting a little tired of working at home. All the lazy ways I live and still be productive is nice, but I'm missing human contact for these 8 hours a day

I love my job because this is my first job in 2 years (just completed a year a week ago) so I'm much more appreciative, I'm an I.T. contractor for the government and I make real good money, the most money I ever made to do less work than I have on previous contracts, I gets to chill, my boss always leaves an hour or two after I arrive. I work the midshift and get off at night, I don't have to drive through rush hour at all

and mainly because I choose to have a good attitude about my job, my dad would always school me about how 80% of people hate their jobs and die on their way to work on a Monday morning...he said to always do something you're passionate about that way it won't seem like work and you will be happy...I'm passionate about helping others, hence working on a Help Desk, very easy money because I don't have to get under nobodys desk to connect/disconnect a computer then bump my head on the desk when gettin' up...I just manage user accounts and coordinate calls, emergency's and outages that deal with airports and communications equipment...

I'm a physical therapist. I know this sounds corny as shyt but i actually like making people healthier. Also its a job once you get the hang of things, its easy as hell especially if patients are coming through with the same shoulder or knee problems.

I like my job, it allows to to travel for damn near free after frequent flyer miles and business tax breaks. The money I make allows me to stay active in the community and I'm working on my own terms, not bad for a brotha from the Bricks.

My boy is an EMT, and winter is the worse he was saying, for the same reasons you put.

paraeducator in 3rd grade autism for 2 1/2 years now

hated the job at first (don't like doing passive restraints, lil mufakkas trying to fight you, filling out incident reports, and ugly middle age hoes trying to holla)

But after the first year, I had the shyt down to a science, so I enjoy working there and feel like I'm doing something positive everyday.

I like my job as a Securities Valuation Associate for an Asset Mgmt. Corporation (top 5 going by Asset under mgmt) but I often feel I am capable of more and would prefer to be challenged. I take it for what it is an use the internship for opportunities to learn. My only gripe is that I wish I had a fellow black person around to cool out with and these Fortune 500 companies corporate environments can be a little taxing with the way you have to "act" and be overly cordial. If theres a day where youre just quiet and have nothing to say...people start worrying and asking whats wrong. If you have better things to do than go out with coworkers (double your age) to some bar after work...people give you the . But I have freedom to do whatever as long as my work gets done, i can listen to music, surf the coli etc.

Like i said, I take it for what it is.

I like my job a lot. only thing I dont like is having to commute to the suburbs for work. but at least I can work at home on wednesdays, and sometimes I work at our other hospitals that are actually located in the city.
