These days with every company trying to pry into your life and get data, people using friends as background actors in their social media posts, or people finding old posts or texts to paint you as a certain kind of person I've kind of grown to value being boring and forgettable. I like not bringing attention to myself and trying to get likes and attention online.

There's something liberating about having the power to be forgotten and anonymous. There's something nice about not having to be impressive in all social situations or living up to a cultivated image.

To your point, thats how you weed out people that aren't going to be around for very long. Living low key will attract people that truly desire to be a part of your life.

I would honestly rather sit in my room and do nothing than hang out at some of these lame ass kickbacks and parties. People really overestimate how much of a good time they really are.

Boring is subjective imo breh. I pay bills, save money and take care of my mother/help my siblings. My girl has the same mindset, and if that's boring then I accept that.

Depends on what you mean boring.

It is not a good thing to have the personality of wet paint. If you have good social skills, you should be able to hold a conversation with most people once the ice is broken.

If you mean people determining that you're boring from the outside, that isn't a problem. Some people are more reserved than others.

I enjoy it a lot. I'm not addicted to real life drama and don't like being at the whims of whatever the perceived social hierarchy of whichever group I might have to be within.

Maybe if I was rich enough to actually have some sway, I might want to have a little fun. Regular people have to compete and stand out if they wanna have any type of motion. And too many people take the social climbing shyt too seriously to the point of them being willing to do harm to others.
