I would do the opposite but I don't worry about shaping it up anymore. I just cut my hair and let it do whatever.

wouldnt your cut look weird if u shape it up and then the barber cuts it off? how would you see the lines?

I do it, but I only shave my head or give myself a trim.

Barbers have always fukked my hair up and I gotta fix it when I come home. Haven't been to a barber in 5 years

I have for years. I'm not the greatest at it , but I'm still better than more than half of the barbers in my city. Plus I find it gratifying . Giving yourself a fresh cut :whew:

im gettin ready to buy all the shyt i need

fukk the barbershop
I do and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I bought a set of clippers for about $20 off Amazon and it's easy as long as you keep the guards on and take your times.

It won't be as fresh as a cut from the barber, but the freshness from a barbershop cut only lasts for a week at the maximum anyway. It will feel awkward at first but it's worth it.

Save money, no waiting in line, no worrying about scheduling appointments, etc. Do it, breh.

been cutting my hair consistently for the past two years. I've probably saved almost $1,000 just by cutting my own hair. It's easier than it sounds but it will take time to perfect. Lining up the back of your head and tapering might take a while to learn.

You might make some mistakes when you first start but honestly with the right equipment you probably wont make any noticeable mistake unless you tryna do some design

Rite now I just keep a Cesar but I cut other people's hair now which means I'm gonna have to get better equipment.
