Yeah its bad for a ton of reasons but you can make a chunk of change in one evening/afternoon doing it. Its around summer time so its the season though and you can at least support yourself till you can tour with a group/artist/whatever. A friend of mine cracked this guy for 1,000 to DJ his wedding this past weekend.

Tek are you still on Serato or did you migrate to Traktor?

Torq it serve its purpose on what I'm doing.. Sold one turntable so i only rock one and still I can beat juggle with it.

Yeah, folks around here aint gettin married like that and if they are they goin to the courthouse real quick. The wedding i did I made 300$ for only like 30 mins of work but that was the worst 30 mins of my life spinnin.

I need to learn how to scratch tho, i always sounded flabby and sick on that shyt, and do better transitions.

Hopefully next year I can actually start doing it, parties etc. Shouldn't be hard to get work in this college town charging people dirt cheap

Having connections with local colleges is a good way to make easy $$$.
My brother knew some kids at Stanford, and ended up doing parties there every weekend. Those white kids had no problems spending their parents money.
