Sanpaku is Japanese superstition that suggests that if you can see your sclera (white of your eyes) at the top or bottom of your eyes, you can determine your fate.

Yin sanpaku (white below your eyes) = you're more likely to develop an illness or die a tragic death.

Yang sanpaku (white above your eyes) = you're thought to be more violent towards others.
