I used to be immature and all homophobic like most kids. I've been around plenty growing up tho and I learned to be accepting of people and cut the immature thought processes and whenever I'm around some these days it's nothing I chop it up with them like everyone else.
The one time that was different though was when I moved to Northern California for 6 months in Santa Cruz. I got a job and they gave me a window to find a place to live, like 2 weeks or so. I had some fukked up Craigslist situation worked out where I was gonna live with some like 54 year old lady with a weiner dog

. I corresponded with her a few times till I was certain I'd have a place to stay and 2 days before I flew out I called her one more time to be sure I wasn't gonna be homeless. The bytch told me "Actually my roommate decided not to move out so we are not renting the room out anymore" I almost threw my damn phone. So I had to find a place to live within 2 days on the other side of the country with no way of checking a place out before I moved in.
A fellow intern hooked me up with a living situation he opted not to go with, a house with I think it was 4 other roommates, plus one who had a boyfriend come over all the time so really like 5. So I had my room, two girls had their own rooms, the boyfriend would stay in the one chick's room, and there were 2 other legit roommates that shared a room together. We all got along, boned and shyt, I had my suspicions that one of the shared bedroom guys might be gay but had no evidence besides his lisp but he was Asian so I chalked it up to a dialect pattern in his speech. All of my roommates were nerdy video game lovers and the Asian dude's shared roommate was a typical dude also. It was kind of weird that they shared a room but they had separate beds so I figured they were just sharing the space due to the high rent costs in California.
They would make me bacon wrapped chicken and Asian meals and homemade guac and shyt, every time I would come home they'd have some good ass food they wanted to share with me so I was like hell yea. Then my sublease with the previous chick whose room I took was coming to a close and I had to move again so I ask the Asian dude "Hey so what are you two gonna do after the lease is up? I could use some references of good places to live" and the Asian dude goes "Well, I don't know if you knew this already but me and (forgot his roommate dude's name) are ex boyfriends so it was already a weird situation being in the same room and all"
I looked at him like
Long story short, I feel like there should be a TV show like a real world type of shyt where they make homophobic people live with gay people without knowing they are gay and have great times with the gay people and have it be revealed at the end that they are gay cuz it really changes your perspective if you haven't fully accepted homosexuals. I feel like that show would take off in this era too I should propose that to some entertainment company
