Best Buy is useless for cables. There isn't anything at the store you can't get online for a 100th of the cost. Radio Shack will still have shyt you might not be able to find online though. They will make you pay for it though.

there is a difference between the 5$ ones and the ones for like 90...but its not that significant of a difference to pay the extra money
theres hdmi cables that go for like 800 and shyt...but the obscure shyt it improves quality wise is nothing that a normal person watching tv would or ever care to see

sort of, but not quite. the quality of overall picture doesnt improve....basically the quality of the picture is the same as its either a correct pixel or a transmission error pixel where you have weird pixel out of place.
so the longer the cable you need (like 50-100 ft, the more chance of transmission errors and you needing a better cable.
but for regular use the error is negligible.
also you could have bandwidth issues with cheaper cables, but youd have to do something crazy to go over 10GB/s.
