GOAT status. Drinking, smoking, and gambling are all part of the game. Being away from your family and hanging with your boys for 4-5 hours is perfectly acceptable. And if you don’t wanna be a degenerate, you can walk 9 or 18 and it’s great exercise.

Yeah, kinda bummed only did 9 3 par holes. Kinda feel jipped but I played decent.

I’ve never played a par 3 course. I imagine it would be fun every now and then but not something I would wanna do regularly

I went out there to play a few weeks ago and was pure trash at it. I can't lie though once I learn the game I'll probably stick with it. I'm to old to be playing basketball with these young boys.

Just wonder what are some other folks thoughts on the game of golf. The ones who play.

Golf ain’t no old man’s sport either. Almsot all seasoned golf players can tell what other folks play golf just from their walk.

Good thing about this place they let you play as long as you want you can replay the course all day off one ticket.

That’s a pretty good deal. Any longer holes or are they all pretty short?

I played a 9 hole course with some co-workers a few years ago and they were all in awe a beginner could hit so well. They recommend I get professional lessons to precent starting bad habits. So today I took my first lesson. I was able to hit the 7 iron 160+ a few times but my issue is consistency. I'd hit 3-4 pefect balls them bomb the next few. I can definitely see how this is addictive.

I'm definitely looking forward to going back out there.

That's excellent distance. Keep practicing and you will get more consistent.

Got some new clubs a month or so ago. I'm not good, but I'm fine enough to accept an offer or set up a round for business reasons. Good driver when I focus...OKAY putter...horrible in the sand. Like fukking forget it.

And fatigue gets me in the last 3 holes of 18...

Gotta say, I got significantly better in 2025 though

I used to play a lot. No time for it now. My daughter plays on the local and national Junior Circuit now so that is where my focus is with the sport.
