Seen him several times. He's really not all that exciting aside from the dunks and shyt. There's been games where he's tallied 28 6 and 6 and you barely feel like he did anything.

I payed 3 times in the past 3 yrs. 1 in Miami. 1 @ Verizon Center in DC. Also, I went to see the Team USA vs Brazil play @ Verizon Center during 2012 pre olympics. The latter 2 out of 3 I got my money's worth. However, it is cheaper to see the :troll: play in Miami than anywhere else. I saw the 3 best in my era in person Jordan Kobe and LBJ. My life as a sports spectator is complete.

I did, once. Nov. '09, was on vacation in Disney World w/the fam, and saw that the Cavs would be in town while I was there. I was like :ehh:, Why not? Got a good deal on tix, seats weren't too bad (not 1st level, but not nosebleeds), and Bron gave us what we paid to see. Had something like 36-8-5, and made it look so effortless. Didn't even realize his stats were that nice were 'til afterwards. It's cliche, but it really was like a man against boys.

For some reason, I also remember Mo going off - he was scorching from 3, :shaq: getting booed unmercifully, Vince keeping ORL in the game, and Dwight pretty much being rendered invisible. (The more things change...:pachaha:)

Glad I got to, uh, witness him play live. Amazing is right.

Is it really more exciting when a player has to struggle like hell to put up those numbers like Kobe does?

Kobe at his best is one of the most exciting players in the game. I saw Kobe play once several years ago and it was a great game. LeBron's game is no nonsense. It's simple and effective. It's brilliantly efficient but people are kidding themselves if they'd rather watch Bron instead of Kobe or Dwyane at their best.

I've seen Bron have some great games, but they were by no means incredibly entertaining to watch.

I'd rather watch Jamal Crawford or monta Ellis drop 50 than Bron if that's what you mean

Yeah, LeBron is the last player is watch tapes from. It's crazy because he's easily the best player over the last 6/7 years, but his game isn't smooth at all.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
I have paid to see him play when he was in Cleveland, about a dozen times (about 7 or 8 were vs the Celts so I actaully went to see them) I went to his first playoff game ever, he got a trip double, I will say it was the most underwhelming triple double I have ever seen live (other than Jordan Crawford, but it was Jordan fukking Crawford) I agree with the premise of this thread, I have seen all the greats live, and there is a certain excitement, but Lebron doesn't have that aura. I mean, even after he posterizes someone, it seems ike it is like nba Jam, he hit the energy button, uses it for 1 play, and then it is off. I have never seen him put a whole game of equal energy, well live at least
